The Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, is once again appearing before the nine-member ad-hoc bipartisan Parliamentary Committee investigating the agreement to buy Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccines from Russia.
The Minister first appeared before the Committee last Thursday before proceedings were adjourned to Monday, July 19.
The Minister has been responding to questions about his decision to go into a contract with a foreign individual without prior Parliamentary approval and also without making efforts to procure the vaccine directly from the manufacturers.
The Minister admitted it was not prudent but said he did so out of desperation and frustration.
