TVET institutions to be revamped

The Executive Director of COTVET, Fred Asamoah, has stressed the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the development of the country.
He said this in a speech read on his behalf by the Cape Coast Metro director of Education, Philip Inkoom when Oguaa Senior High Technical School climaxed its 27th anniversary.
Citing Germany as an example, Mr Asamoah said his outfit together with government will revamp TVET institutions to equip students with relevant competency based training for the job market.
