The Secretary-General of TUC Dr. Yaw Baah has blamed the rising levels of corruption in society on capitalism.
He has therefore urged all to join socialist movements in the struggle to defeat capitalism and improve the living and working conditions of the masses.
Speaking at the founding National Delegates Congress of the Socialists Movement of Ghana, Dr. Baah said the TUC associates itself with the transition from the Socialists forum of Ghana to a Socialist Movement of Ghana.
He said trade unionism and socialism have a common objective of fairness to all people and commended socialists like Prof. Akilapka Sawyerr who fought against bad international agreements with Ghanaian governments.
