Lawyers for embattled Assin North Member of Parliament Joe Gyakye Quayson have filed a notice of appeal in a Cape Coast Court.
According to the lawyers, the decision of the court was not based on settled laws and were in clear violation of the 1992 Constitution.
They want the Appeals Court to overturn the decision of the Cape Coast High Court.
Meanwhile, the NDC has also petitioned the Judicial Service to punish the Registrar of the Cape Coast High Court and others who frustrated them when they wanted to file at the court on Tuesday.
