The promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021 has been laid and read for the first time in Parliament.
The Second Deputy speaker, Andrew Amoako Asiamah, consequently referred the bill to the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee.
The bill, which is a private member’s bill is sponsored by eight MPs.
Samuel George of Ningo- Prampram, Mrs Della Sowah of Kpando, Emmanuel Bedzra, Ho West and Rev. John Ntim Fordjour of Assin South.
The rest are Alhassan Suhuyini of Tamale North, Rita Odoley Sowah, La Dadekotopon, Helen Adjoa Ntoso, Krachi West and Rockson-Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor, South Dayi.
