Suspects in the Konongo Senior High School murder saga have been remanded into police custody.
The five appeared before the Konongo-Odumase District Court in the Asante Akyem Municipality of the Ashanti Region, on November 7, 2021, where they were charged with murder and abetment of crime.
They are to reappear before the Court on November 15th, 2021 The unfortunate incident happened in one of the dormitories of the school around 9pm last Friday.
Speaking to the media, the Konongo District Commander, Chief Superintendent Shaibu Osei said the suspects were remanded to allow the Police more time for investigations.
Counsel for the Suspects, Richard Adu Darko said the murder charge slapped on his clients is too harsh.
