Ghana Premier League Club, Ashantigold SC have secured the services of German trainer Henry Haeusler as their new head coach.
Haeusler penned a two-year contract with the Obuasi-based Football Club.
The German trainer is certain he will lead the club to success.
” I am here to make the club successful and also build a team for the future, it’s important to help the players understand their roles in this project and that’s what I will do.” Henry Haeusler said.
“The players have huge potentials to be great and I think collectively we can all achieve great success.” he added.
His vision for Ashanti Gold is to develop players that can compete in top clubs in Africa and Europe.
“Creating and developing an understanding of youth development that focuses on player development, not team success.”
Henry Haeusler trained with the team for the first time on Wednesday 19th January 2022.
This weekend, Ashgold will travel to Accra for their matchday 14 fixture against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium, they are currently 12th on the table with 15 points.
