Government postpones mid-year budget review to July 25 due to engagements with IMF

Government is expected to ask Parliament to re-schedule the mid-year budget review presentation to Monday, July 25.

The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta was scheduled to present the mid-year financial policy review to Parliament on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 but in an interview with the Parliamentary Press Corps, Deputy Finance Minister, Abena Osei-Asare said the engagement with the IMF has necessitated the change in date but government won’t flout the law even with the change in date.
