St. Augustine’s College (Augusco) has launched its 93rd Speech and Prize-Giving Day anniversary.
The event themed: “Supporting the foundation that shapes future generations”, which was also used to unveil the APSU 98 legacy project was held on Friday, July 29, 2022, in Accra.
The legacy project aims to annually sponsor school projects and many more. St. Augustine Past Students Union (APSU) is currently embarking on a building project of 4/2 bedroom flats for the teachers in order to maintain infrastructure with the help of old students.
Present at the event were key personalities such as a former Member of Parliament for New Juaben North, Mr. Hackman Owusu-Agyemang; Dr. Anthony Osei, President of APSU, Mr. Andrew Takyi-Appiah, Co-founder and Managing Director of Zeepay; and other members of APSU.

APSU National President, Dr. Anthony Osei, urged the old students of the school both in and outside Ghana to also support meeting the needs of the school in order to lessen the government’s responsibility.

He established that they are confident in accomplishing the goal of the completion of 4/2 bedroom flats for the staff accommodation between now and March 2023.
St Augustine’s College is a Roman Catholic institution that was established in 1930 in Cape Coast as an all-male academic institution. It is the first Catholic second-cycle school to be built in Ghana, formerly called the Gold Coast.
