Eastern Region presents 59,868 candidates for 2022 WASSCE

59,868 candidates comprising 27,911 males and 31,957 females are writing this year’s West African Secondary Schools Certificate Examination, WASSCE, in the Eastern Region.

A visit to some of the schools in the Regional capital Koforidua shows that candidates were writing the practical exams without challenge.

The news team visited Koforidua Secondary technical (SECTECH), SEDASS, POJOSS and New Juaben Senior High School, NJUASCO. The candidates were writing the practical exams with ease without any challenge.

All the necessary materials for the practical exams arrived on time .

The Headmistress of SDA Senior High School, Mrs. Naomi Yeboah who spoke to the news team said her outfit registered 614 candidates for the exams.

She said they prepared the candidates adequately for the exams and expressed the hope that they will come out with good grades to make the school proud.
