The paramount Chief of the Krachi Traditional Area, Krachiwura Nana Mprah Besemuna, insists that the demand for the Oti Region is not for political or ethnic reasons as some people might perceive.
According to him, there are good reasons for making that request especially when development seems to have eluded the area for many years.
Krachiwura Besemuna therefore appealed to all eligible voters within the Oti enclave, to get ready and vote massively in the 27th December referendum, as it is going to be the only legitimate and legal window of opportunity they can have, to confirm what they want.
