A combined team of ECG staff and military personnel have detected illegal power connections at Kpong-Lorlornyor in the Eastern Region.
The team discovered that several prepaid customers had cut the prepaid lines and connected directly to the main power lines, resulting in the power consumed not being captured by the meters.
Most of the perpetrators who got wind of the exercise were reported to have vacated their residences before the team arrived.
