An Accra Circuit Court has again remanded leader of Heaven Way Church, Patricia Asiedua popularly known as Nana Agradaa into custody to reappear on October 17.

A request for bail by her lawyer was refused by the judge Samuel Bright Acquah.

Prosecution told the court that an amendment needs to be done to the charge sheet considering the number of people coming up with complaints against Nana Agradaa.

She has currently been charged with charlatanic advertisement and six counts of defrauding by false pretences to which she has pleaded not guilty.

Agradaa remanded again; set to reappear in Court on October 17

During her first appearance before the court last Monday, October 10, 2022, the judge declined to grant bail considering her previous experience with the law regarding ‘sika gari’ and now her money doubling claims.

Nana Agradaa was arrested last Sunday following allegations of money doubling scam against her by some persons.
