The Majority Chief Whip Frank Annor Dompreh has reiterated that the 2023 budget will be presented on Thursday, November 24.

The ensuing debate will be on Tuesday, November 29. Mr. Dompreh made this known when he presented the business statement for next week to Parliament.

Minority Leader Haruna Idrissu wondered whether the majority caucus will boycott the reading of the budget by the Minister of Finance Ken Ofori-Atta as earlier threatened.

Mr. Dompreh said his side will act in the interest of the country.

Meanwhile, Finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta says the forthcoming budget will see the announcement of critical measures to boost an export orientation for the country.
