Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the General Overseer of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, has disclosed that he needs about ¢1.5 Million Ghana cedis every month in order to sort things out.

In his view, churches need funds to pay workers, funds for individual church ministries such as children and students, funds for facilities and maintenance, funds for worship services, funds for outreach, funds for building construction, and many other categories.

He made this point on GTV’s breakfast show when answering a question on why churches need funds on Wednesday.

In his words, he said, “Every month, I need about 1.5 million Ghana cedis before we can sort our things out.”

He explained, “my Church, the modern-day Church, when you come there, we have learned workers who work at the church premises who get paid, we have air conditioners, we pay electricity, we do not worship on trees.”

He went ahead to quote a verse in the Bible which explains that “one should work and bring the money so that you may be blessed so that God will protect you with his spirit”.

Speaking on the National Cathedral being built by the President of the Republic of Ghana, Prophet Nigel said “the building of the Cathedral is a very laudable idea but very untimely”.

The Prophet is popularly known for his “controversial” prophecies delivered at the end of each year and fanciful names such as “Umoufia and Republic of Yemp3 nokor3”.
