The maiden edition of the Northern Trade, Industry and Investment Summit has been opened in Tamale to build the capacities of Businesses and Entrepreneurs in various sectors of trade and industry.
Over 100 businesses from all the five regions of the North are exhibiting their products and services and forming networks at the Tamale Jubilee Park.
The trade summit is designed to strategically engage the business community to take advantage of the many untapped opportunities in the region.
Executive Director for the Centre for Policy Development, Ishmael Yahuza, in an interview said the North has abundance of untapped resources. Therefore, organizing such a summit will build the capacity of businesses.
