A forty-five year old man from Kundugu, Abu Adamu has emerged this year’s Best Farmer for Wa East District of the Upper West Region.
Mr Adamu was selected out of eighteen other farmers who also contested for the award.
GBC’s Correspondent Sualah Abdul-wahab who witnessed the ceremony at Buffiama, a farming community in the district reports that John Atta Nyogisung from Duu also emerged first runner up while Best Woman Farmer went to Zenabu Jelilu from Buffiama.
