An IT Expert and Leading Artificial Intelligence Consultant, Philip Gamey, has encouraged the Government to start training its workforce on Artificial Intelligence.

Mr. Gamey made this known on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme ‘FOCUS’, which discussed the Emergence of Artificial Intelligence and the threat to job security.

Mr. Gamey charged the IGP to come up with a strategy in the shortest possible time to address Cyber Security issues.

Director of Operations at the Institute of Executive Studies, Melissa Ghansah, urged institutions to train their employees to catch up with the opportunities in artificial intelligence.

This is because the world is moving in that direction, and Africa must not be left behind.
