From Koforidua Micheal Kofi Kenetey reports that voting has commenced for the NPP Special Delegates Conference in the Eastern Region.
In all, 81 Delegates are expected to exercise their franchise in the Eastern Region.
They include 25 MPs, 33 Constituency Chairmen, 2 Founding fathers, 1 Regional Minister, 3 Reps from the National Council in the region17 Regional Executives.
In an interview with the Member of Parliament of Nsawam Adoagyiri and Majority Chief Whip in Parliament, Frank Annoh-Dompreh after casting his vote, noted that he is satisfied with the process so far.
He expressed optimism that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will win with not less than 80 percent votes by the end of the day.
