The Mankralo [clan head] of the Prampram Traditional Area, Nene Atsure Benta III, has been gunned down by some unknown assailants at Apollonia, in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality of Greater Accra.
According to the Graphic Online, the deceased, who was also the acting President of the Prampram Traditional Council was killed Thursday afternoon at about 4:40pm (December 13, 2018) while returning from a meeting in Dodowa in the Shai-Osudoku District.
The Tema Regional Police Commander, DCOP Edward Johnson Akrofi-Oyirifi who confirmed the incident told Graphic Online that policemen from the Dodowa District Command are at the scene of the incident to convey the body to the police hospital mortuary.
He said investigations are underway.
