Nakeeyat the Poet heads to America’s Got Talent

Young Ghanaian poet Nakeeyat, celebrated for her triumph in Season 10 of TV3’s Talented Kidz, is poised to make a mark on the renowned America Got Talent Reality show.

She has recently received confirmation of her shortlisting for the renowned America’s Got Talent (AGT) auditions, a part of the internationally acclaimed talent competition franchise created by Simon Cowell.

America’s Got Talent, commonly known as AGT, draws participants from diverse corners of the United States and beyond, showcasing a wide array of talents spanning singing, dancing, comedy, magic, stunts, variety, and more. Each hopeful performer vies for a spot in the live episodes of the season by aiming to impress a panel of judges.

Nakeeyat The Poet joyfully shared her exciting news on Facebook, saying, “Say a prayer for me in my coming audition 🙏🙏🙏. I have qualified and been called for America’s Got Talent Virtual Call Audition.” The virtual audition is scheduled for January 2024.

A communication from AGT included a message that stated, “You are now registered to attend AGT Virtual Open Call audition on January 20th, 2024, at 12:00 pm… ‘Getting started is often the hardest part, and you have taken the first step towards the big stage and a chance at winning a 1 million dollar prize.”

Nakeeyat’s journey to AGT promises to be a remarkable one, as she prepares to showcase her poetic talents on the international stage.
