President Akufo-Addo engages media Today

The President of the GJA, Affail Monney says Wednesday evening’s Presidential media encounter promises to be a marked improvement over the previous ones.

Many journalists came under public criticism for asking very poor questions and not touching on critical national issues.

Mr. Monney said to avoid problems like these journalists who will take part in this encounter must do their homework well and ask quality questions.

Mr. Monney said there is a slight change in format this time around.

According to him, the President will give a brief opening remark, whiles the question time will be segmented according to the various sectors of the economy.

Meanwhile, a Media Trainer and Analyst, Dr. Doris Yaa Dartey, has asked journalists to prepare adequately before attending Wednesday’s encounter with the President.

Sharing her expectations on the encounter, Dr. Dartey said the journalists must ask relevant questions which will solicit the needed response from the President.
