The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), is pushing for the establishment of a well equipped fire station at the various districts identified under the One District One Factory initiative.
According to the Service, this will enable them to respond swiftly when the need arises.
The Deputy Greater Accra Regional Fire Commander, ACOF Godwin Damalie said this at the launch of the 2018/2019 Bush Fire Prevention Campaign for Ga the West Municipal Assembly at Amasaman.
ACOF Damalie appealed to Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies to endeavour to support the Fire Service to assist in this regard.
