The New Patriotic Party (NPP), has announced a series of events to commemorate the birthday of its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Although the official celebration falls on October 7, 2024, the festivities will span several days, beginning on October 4.
The celebrations will kick off on Friday, October 4, 2024, with nationwide Muslim Thanksgiving prayers. On Saturday, October 5, visits will be made to Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) churches and other denominations that observe worship on Saturdays.
A nationwide Thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday, October 6. The festivities will culminate on Monday, October 7, with nationwide campaigns and canvassing activities in his honour.
