Results from research conducted by some academics at the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, have shown that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will beat former President John Dramani Mahama again should elections be held “Today”.
Explaining the survey, Head of the Political Science Department, University of Ghana, Dr. Maame Gyekye-Jandoh said the elections might head for a run-off because though President Akufo-Addo may have taken the lead, he may not be able to cross the 50 percent plus one mark to be retained as President.
A Senior Lecturer at the Political Science Department of the University, Kaakyire Frimpong also spoke about some controversial policies that were introduced such as the free SHS and Double Track which were most disliked.
