Stakeholders from across the globe will converge in Accra this week as Ghana’s Youth Development Giant Youth Arise Organization hosts the inaugural Global Youth Workers Conference, set for June 2–6 at the GNAT Hall in Accra.

The conference, organized by Y.A.O, will bring together youth workers, educators, policymakers, and development partners to examine critical issues affecting young people.

The conference will raise conversations on unemployment, mental health, climate change, and the impact of digital dependency.

Organizers say, the conference’s six breakout sessions will focus on Youth in Agribusiness, Future of STEM and AI, Digital Storytelling, Youth Peace and Security, Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship and Youth in Mental Health. Participants and stakeholders will explore the gaps in these sectors and find practical solutions which will help achieve the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Founder and Global CEO of Youth Arise Organization, Moses Baffour Awuah, expressed optimism about the conference’s impact. Known for launching the Leadership Diary Training Program (LDTP), Mr. Awuah described the event as “a platform for critical dialogue that can shape the future of youth work globally.”
