The Nkawie Divisional Police Command has arrested Williams Ofori Atta, a suspected murderer, at Kukuom in the Ahafo Region.
The 29-year-old Ofori Atta is accused of murdering Emmanuel Kwabena Boakye, a 28-year-old man.
The police say the suspect allegedly confessed to shooting and killing the victim during its initial interrogation.
A mobile phone believed to belong to the deceased, Kwabena Boakye, has been retrieved from the suspect as part of the ongoing investigation.
