Rugby League Federation Ghana has re-elected Juliana Storey as President to continue to lead expansion of the federation.

Her continued presidency signals a period of strategic growth and consolidation for rugby league in Ghana, building on the significant progress achieved during her first term.

An accomplished education consultant, Storey has been pivotal in driving the sport’s rapid expansion across the country.

Over the past two years, the RLFG has made remarkable strides under her stewardship, including boosting grassroots participation, organizing nationwide tournaments and delivering comprehensive coaching and officiating courses.

Her leadership has also strengthened partnerships with both local and international stakeholders, laying a solid foundation for the sport’s future.

Upon her re-election, she expressed gratitude for the confidence placed in her and outlined ambitious plans for the federation’s next chapter.

“This is a moment of renewed purpose. Rugby league in Ghana has come a long way, but there is much more ahead. Together with the newly elected board, I am committed to growing the game, developing our youth, and taking Ghana to the world stage,” she affirmed.

The newly elected RLFG board brings together a diverse and experienced group of professionals from education, finance, corporate leadership, and sports management.

This dynamic team, including Vice President Daniel Oko Djanie and Treasurer Rob Oram, is expected to drive key priorities such as regional expansion, enhanced women’s participation and stronger governance.
