The 2025 Ghana National Baseball League (GNBL) continued with thrilling energy and standout performances on Matchday 2, held on 12th July 2025. With fans cheering from the stands and the sun blazing over the Koshien field, the day was packed with big hits, slick plays, and decisive victories that are already shaping the league table.
Tema Tigers Dominate Once Again
In a much-anticipated matchup, the Tema Tigers proved why they’re early title contenders, cruising to a 10–2 victory over the LD Dodgers. With strong pitching, tight defense, and consistent hitting, the Tigers extended their unbeaten run to two games and now sit comfortably at the top of the standings with 6 points and a run differential of +9. Their relentless energy and strategic discipline are setting the tone for the rest of the season.
Shai Osudoku Hawks Soar Past Giant Hitters
In another commanding performance, the Shai Osudoku Hawks made a powerful league debut by defeating the Tema Giant Hitters 10–2. The Hawks brought both power and precision to the game, dazzling the crowd with sharp base running and solid teamwork. They now move into second place with 3 points and a promising run differential of +8.
