The Ministry of Education has announced that the 2025 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) will officially begin on September 17.

The Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Professor Ernest Davis, made the announcement during a press briefing at the ministry on 27th August 2025. He assured parents, students, and other stakeholders that the placement process will be fair, transparent, and strictly merit-based.

Professor Ernest Davis also cautioned against fraud, urging parents and guardians to report individuals who attempt to extort money with promises of securing school placements for their children.

“The placement results will be published online for easy access, and the ministry is committed to ensuring a smooth and credible exercise,” Professor Ernest Davis said.

The CSSPS is an annual nationwide system used to place students into senior high schools and technical institutions across the country.
