The National Service Authority (NSA) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, witnessed a historic leadership transition as Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh officially assumed office as the new Director-General, succeeding Mr. Felix Kwame Gyamfi, who has been posted to the Ministry of Finance.
The brief ceremony at the Authority’s headquarters in Accra was attended by management and staff, marking not just a change in leadership but also a new milestone as Ms. Seddoh becomes the first woman to head the NSA.

In his farewell remarks, Mr. Felix Kwame Gyamfi expressed appreciation for the cooperation of staff during his tenure and urged them to rally behind his successor to sustain the Authority’s progress.

Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh, acknowledging the confidence reposed in her by government, assured that she would build on past gains while driving innovation, teamwork, and dedication to strengthen the NSA’s contribution to national development.
“This is not just about leadership change but about taking the Authority into a new phase of growth and impact,” she said.
Management and staff pledged their full support to Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh, expressing optimism that her tenure will further transform the operations of the Authority and empower young Ghanaians undertaking national service.
