At the Ghana Career Migration Fair 2025, held at the Accra International Conference Center, Philip Cecil Richter, Director of International Relations at JADR Global Recruitments Limited, sent an exciting message of assurance to job seekers eyeing international opportunities.
Speaking amid a bustling exhibition of recruitment agencies, employers, and aspiring migrants, Richter underscored his company’s commitment to ethical recruitment practices that starkly contrast with unscrupulous operators preying on vulnerable Ghanaians.
“We don’t seize passports, we don’t charge fees,” was a standout pledge from Richter, addressing fears many have about exploitation by unlicensed recruitment groups. Unlike shadowy outfits that demand hefty sums from hopeful migrants only to abandon them to hardship abroad, JADR Global Recruitment operates transparently with licenses from Ghana’s Labour Office and Ministry of Youth and Employment backing their processes. The employer pays for everything, the visa, ticket, accommodation. We don’t take any fees from the people,” Richter declared, spotlighting a model where workers aren’t financial prey.
JADR’s alignment with government bodies ensures rigorous oversight. “Quarterly, we give reports to the labour department about our activities,” Richter revealed. Before departure, migrants receive mandatory orientation at the Labour Ministry, equipping them to navigate foreign environments culturally and socially. “We recruit people without taking monies from them,” he reiterated, painting a picture of dignity preserved for Ghanaian workers heading abroad.
Richter’s comments dovetail with Ghana’s broader ambitions on job creation, aligning with the President’s initiatives and recent pronouncements by Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister on establishing “Ghana Houses” (rebranded embassies) with dedicated labour officers to protect citizens abroad. “There is always a communication link, a monitoring mechanism to check all these things,” he said, projecting confidence in JADR’s structured approach.
Speaking directly to aspiring migrants wary of pitfalls, Richter’s assurance was unequivocal: “Oh, very safe, because we are open,we strive to be the best and do things by international standards.” JADR Global Recruitment emerges not just as a recruitment agency, but as a beacon of lawful migration, promising Ghanaians pathways abroad without the shadows of exploitation.
