Lifestyle TV, a sister station under the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), has once again taken a bold step in promoting local tourism through its travel and culture program, TrekGh. This time, the team is heading to the Eastern Region under the theme “Journey to the East.”
The three-day trip aims to uncover and highlight some of the tourist attractions, natural wonders, and rich cultural heritage of the region. It also offers participants an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, education, fun, and relaxation.
The journey begins with a refreshing visit to the Bunso Eco Park, known for its forest trails and canopy walkways. From there, the team moves to the Abetifi Stone Age Park, a fascinating archaeological site that gives an idea of early human settlement in Ghana. The day ends with a relaxing evening, where travelers will enjoy dinner and rest up for the adventures ahead.

The second day is packed with exciting activities. It starts with breakfast, followed by a tour of the mysterious Nkofieho Caves, and then a hike through the scenic Eco Raven Mountains. After lunch, the group cools off with a vibrant pool party and gears up for an elegant All-White Party in the evening. The day ends with a delicious dinner buffet and well-deserved rest.
On the final day, the team will visit the Royal Palace of Kwahu Tafo, giving participants a deeper look into the chieftaincy and traditions of the area. They’ll then explore the Butuase Waterfalls, a peaceful and beautiful natural site perfect for relaxation and photos. The trip concludes with a lunch buffet before the team heads back.
The TrekGh project is not just about travel; it’s about creating awareness of Ghana’s rich tourism potential, especially among locals. With exciting activities like “party on the bus,” sightseeing, cultural immersion, and themed events, it also gives participants the chance to connect and make lasting memories.
As TrekGh: Journey to the East has begun, Lifestyle TV invites viewers and followers to stay connected through daily updates on social media. The team promises to continue exploring Ghana, one region at a time.
