The 2015 Year Group of the Wesley Girls’ High School Old Girls’ Association (OGA) on Saturday, 20th September 2025, partnered with the National Blood Service to organize a blood donation exercise at the Dworwulu Mmofra Park in Accra as part of their Wrigley Week 2025 celebration.

The event, held to commemorate a decade since the group completed Wesley Girls’ High School, brought together old students and members of the public to support the life-saving initiative.

Speaking at the program, Year Group President, Hermina Catherine Baidoo, said the exercise was their way of giving back to society after 10 years.

“We want to thank the old students and everyone who has been of help. We are hoping this won’t be our only project. This is the first, and we just entered the OGA. We are committed to doing more,” she stated.

Vice President of the Year Group, Wendy Bridget, also expressed gratitude to all who participated, noting that although the group set a target of collecting 100 units of blood, they were encouraged by the turnout.

“We are hopeful that this will be a call to action for many more people to donate blood to save lives. To the OGA, we say thank you for supporting us throughout,” she said.

The 2015 year group emphasized their intention to sustain the project by rallying community support to make it an annual event. They also encouraged younger year groups to take up similar impactful initiatives in the future.
