Kasi Energy has taken another bold step in promoting environmental sustainability by organising a community tree planting exercise at Nanton Zuo in the Northern Region.
The initiative, held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, aimed to raise community awareness of the importance of tree planting in mitigating the effects of climate change and curbing land degradation.

During the exercise, a total of 50 seedlings were planted, comprising three different drought-resistant tree varieties. The species were carefully selected to suit the changing seasons and ensure high survival rates and long-term growth in the area’s climatic conditions.
Community members turned out in their numbers to actively participate in the exercise, reflecting their commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.
The successful event underscores Kasi Energy’s dedication to fostering eco-friendly practices and empowering local communities to take part in protecting their environment.
