The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced an extension of the deadline for the online registration of prospective national service personnel for the 2025/2026 Service Year.
Originally scheduled to close on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the registration window has now been extended to Friday, October 24, 2025. The extension aims to provide additional time for eligible graduates who, for various reasons, were unable to complete the registration process within the initial deadline.
According to a statement signed by the Director-General of the National Service Authority, the decision was taken to ensure that all prospective service personnel are given ample opportunity to register and avoid exclusion from this year’s postings.
“All Service Personnel are required to report to their respective places of posting and commence their national service by Monday, November 3, 2025. Personnel who fail to complete their registration on or before Friday, October 24, 2025, risk being excluded from this year’s postings,” the statement read.
The Authority also encouraged all eligible graduates to take advantage of the new deadline and complete their registration through the official NSA website, www.gnsa.gov.gh. It warned applicants to beware of unscrupulous individuals or fake websites claiming to act as registration agents.
“The system is designed to protect users against fraudulent activities, but vigilance remains key,” the statement cautioned.
The NSA reiterated that the online registration system forms part of its broader effort to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the national service enrolment process.
It further expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for their cooperation and assured the public of its commitment to maintaining a smooth and transparent registration and deployment process for the 2025/2026 Service Year.
