The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) has earned five nominations at the 2025 Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards, matching the Daily Graphic as one of the most-nominated media houses this year.

At the official nominees’ announcement ceremony held at the Ghana International Press Centre, GJA President, Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, unveiled the list of nominees shortlisted for recognition in various categories.

GBC’s nominees include Doreen Ampofo, Rachael Kakraba, Esther Aidoo, Peter Agangre, and GTV as a media entity.

In total, 36 journalists and media organizations were nominated for this year’s prestigious event, which celebrates excellence, integrity, and professionalism in Ghanaian journalism.

The 2025 GJA Awards is scheduled for this Saturday at the Manhyia Palace in the Ashanti Region, under the patronage of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene.
