SEEDAfrique, a youth-focused organization, has met with the Volta Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Madam Phillippina Frimpong, to discuss collaborative opportunities aimed at promoting athletics in the Volta Region.
The meeting, held in Ho on November 19, 2025, outlined plans for joint initiatives, including organizing regional athletics activities and expanding opportunities for young athletes.
SEEDAfrique representatives, Micheal Dzata, Prince Twumasi Asare, and Billy James Dega, expressed their commitment to developing athletics at the grassroots level.
The NSA leadership welcomed the initiative and expressed willingness to collaborate, with planned activities expected to take place between December 2025 and January 2026.
The partnership would strengthen sports development systems and expand pathways for emerging athletes in the Volta Region.
The aim of SEEDAfrique is to empower youth through sports and STEM education, having organized community programs, youth clubs, and educational initiatives.
The organization partners with schools and communities to develop young talents, promoting sustainable development in Africa.
Under the leadership of Madam Philipina, the NSA Volta has been actively partnering and promoting grassroots sports such as goalball and para sports.
SEEDAfrique (Sports & Education for Empowerment and Development) is a youth-focused organization that merges STEM, Sports, and Education to create opportunities for growth and leadership in Africa.
