Ghanaian winger, Albert Adomah marked a staggering 700th English Football League outing during Walsall’s tense 1-1 deadlock with Shrewsbury in EFL League Two on Saturday, December 13, 2025 underscoring his unbreakable bond with the English game.

He stepped onto the pitch as a 69th-minute replacement for Jamille Matt, lending his seasoned touch to the battle and sealing a career-defining notch in the process.

Adding poetic flair, the fixture aligned perfectly with Adomah’s 38th birthday, transforming a standard league point into a deeply personal triumph.

“Clocking 700 EFL league appearances is mind-blowing, especially on my birthday, it’s the ideal twist, a milestone begging for fireworks,” Adomah reflected with genuine thrill.

Spanning iconic chapters at Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, and Queens Park Rangers, the Black Stars veteran boasts 95 goals and 101 assists, standing as a testament to grit and flair across two decades.
