Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), Rashid Tanko Conputer has mentioned that, the works of President John Dramani Mahama’s government can be felt by Ghanaians and the applause is coming from the good people of Ghana, not just NDC members or leadership.
“The applause on President Mahama’s first 12 months in office is not coming from NDC members or leadership, it is coming from the good people of Ghana”, he noted.
He believes Ghanaians have recognized better leadership under President Mahama, citing the country’s governance with fewer than 60 ministers as a positive example.
“They have realized that, they have gotten better leadership under John Dramani Mahama. They are also aware now that, the country can be governed under 60 Ministers”, he said.
During a panel discussion on The Big Issue today, Tanko Computer revealed that, President Mahama’s experience from his previous term and eight years in opposition has enabled him stabilize the economy, benefiting Ghanaians.
He also commended the government for its scandal-free first year in office, attributing this to President Mahama’s emphasis on accountability and responsible public resource stewardship.
Rashid Computer also noted that Ghana was on a dangerous economic path under the previous NPP administration, citing that corruption and Covid-19 were intertwined but President Mahama’s leadership has improved the situation.
