Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia has cut the sod for construction to begin on the Phase Three of the Security Forces Housing Units for the Ghana Police Service.
The project will see the construction of housing units to address the housing deficit facing the Police Service.
Vice President Bawumia said while government holds the security services in high esteem, the onus lies on them to also live up to expectation.
He also appealed to the Private Sector to partner government to address Ghana’s housing deficit which currently stands at one point seven million.
