Ghana and Zimbabwe have signed 10 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) across key sectors, including political and diplomatic consultations, energy, tourism, sports, trade and investment, archives, foreign service training, and waste management. The agreements were reached following bilateral talks between President John Dramani Mahama and President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the Peduase Lodge in the Eastern Region.
Details of the Agreements:
As part of the agreements, the two countries resolved that their Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation (PJCC) will meet every two years on a rotational basis, with annual mid-term reviews and regular consultations between senior officials to ensure that commitments are sustained and effectively implemented.

President Mahama said the MoUs reflect the breadth of cooperation and the seriousness of both governments to give practical meaning to Ghana–Zimbabwe relations.
