Ghanaian comedian and actor, Prince Kwame Amoabeng, popularly known as Jeneral Ntatia, has revealed that he stumbled upon his passion for comedy quite unexpectedly citing how he is often taken lightly in serious situations.
Speaking on Hitz FM on Thursday, April 9, he recounted that during a stage play, he was cast as a king who had just lost his wife, and despite his serious and sombre expression, the audience burst into laughter. This incident made him realize he had a knack for comedy, even when he wasn’t trying to be funny.
Jeneral Ntatia has since made a name for himself in the Ghanaian comedy scene. He’s known for his versatility and has featured in several movies, including “Keteke”, “Kalybos in China”, and “Mad House”. He’s also a talented theatre actor and has performed in various stage plays.
