The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson, has led Ghana’s delegation to the Caucasus Investment Forum 2026 held in Mineralnye Vody, Russia, from April 28 to 30, 2026.

The forum brought together government officials, investors and development partners from various regions to explore emerging economic opportunities and strengthen international partnerships.

It also served as a platform to discuss opportunities for joint ventures, technology transfer and capacity-building initiatives. Discussions focused on the growing importance of new trade corridors linking Eurasia, the Caspian and Black Sea regions, as well as increasing interest in partnerships with emerging markets, particularly in Africa.

Ghana’s stable political climate, strategic geographical location and investor-friendly policies were highlighted as key advantages for attracting foreign investment.

As part of the forum, the Ghanaian delegation participated in a series of high-level meetings and networking sessions with policymakers, financial institutions and private sector players in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, tourism, agriculture and innovation.

The engagements form part of Ghana’s broader efforts to strengthen its global presence, attract investment, create jobs and promote sustainable development. James Gyakye Quayson was accompanied by officials from Ghana’s Embassy in Morocco.
