A Sunyani based Economist and Financial expert, Bright Kyeremeh, has advised Ghanaians to consult financial experts on their investments.
According to him, this will helpf protect investors from falling victim to Ponzi schemes and other fraudulent financial activities.
In an interview with GBC, Mr Kyeremeh attributed the rise in this type of fraud mainly to greed.
He also called on the media to do background checks on financial institutions that seek to advertise on their platforms as confidence in the Media encourages the public to go for such deceptive operations.
