Deputy Minister Designate for Health on composition of the board of directors for teaching hospitals

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Designate for Health, Alex Kom Abban, has called for a review of the law regarding the composition of the board of directors for teaching hospitals.

He said it is against good governance practices for all sectional heads to be made board members.

According to him, that arrangement is one of the reasons for the frequent upheavals at the teaching hospitals.
