The Member of Parliament, (MP) for Akim Oda and Chairman of the Local Government Committee of Parliament, William Agyapong Quaitoo has called for scrapping of the MPs’ Common Fund.
He said MPs’ should be made to focus on their Legislative function.
Speaking at a Star Ghana Local Governance Grant Partners Learning Event in Accra, Mr. Quaittoo said the fund should be given to the MMDCEs instead for developmental purposes.
