The Volta Regional Command of the Ghana Immigration Service is set to register all immigrants at Aflao in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region.
The move is among other contingency plans being rolled out by the Command to strengthen its enforcement unit.
It is also to deliver on its mandate as well as combat border crime.
The Volta Regional Commander of the Service, Deputy Commissioner Peter Nantuo, who disclosed this at the Regional Immigration and Sector Commanders meeting in Ho, stated that the registration process is being conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and community leaders.
