The Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana says it appreciates the fears and concerns raised by parents regarding the malaria vaccine implementation programme currently being rolled out by the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service.
President of the Association, Benjamin Botwe said the education that preceded the roll out should have gone on alongside the vaccination exercise.
He said the Association sees the new vaccine as timely since malaria deaths among children under five reached an alarming level.
