Gender Ministry, GHS launch campaign to encourage fistula patients

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and the Ghana Health Service (GHS), have launched a campaign to encourage fistula patients to seek timely medical assistance and intervention.

Speaking to GBC’s Radio, a Principal Operations Officer at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Vera Bediako, advised fistula patients to report their condition to any District Health facilities or speak to the Gender Ministry or the Ghana Health Service for free surgery to correct their condition.
